What are the requirements of gas generators for gas?
- The natural gas requirements of the gas generator are within 1m before the gas inlet pressure regulating valve ① the natural gas pressure is 100 ~ 300kPa (supercharger) or 50-300kpa (non supercharger); ② The volume content of methane in natural gas shall not be less than 70%; ③H2S≤20mg/Nm3; ④ Impurity particle size < 5 μ m. Impurity content ≤ 30mg/nm3;
If the sulfur and ammonia components in the combustible gas are high, it will not only seriously corrode the spark plug electrode, but also increase the acid value in the engine oil, corrode the internal parts of the unit, and is easy to generate sediment, increasing the corrosion and wear of the engine. - The requirements of gas generator for biogas are within 1m from the gas inlet pressure regulating valve, ① biogas temperature ≤ 40 ℃; ② biogas pressure is 3 ~ 10KPA, and the pressure change rate is ≤ 1kpa/min; ③ The volume content of methane in biogas is not less than 40%, and the change rate is ≤ 2% / min; ④H2S≤200mg/Nm3; ⑤NH3≤20mg/Nm3; ⑥ Particle size of impurities ≤ 5 μ m. Impurity content ≤ 30mg/nm3; ⑦ Moisture content in biogas ≤ 40g/nm3. For biogas with a methane content of 30 ~ 40% by volume, special configuration of the generator is required, and another type of product is selected.

For gases beyond the specified range, it is necessary to communicate with the manufacturer and verify whether it is feasible according to the gas composition.
- The requirements of gas generator for coke oven gas are within 1m from the gas inlet pressure regulating valve, ① coke oven gas temperature ≤ 40 ℃; ② The pressure of coke oven gas is 3 ~ 10KPA, and the pressure change rate is ≤ 1kpa/min; ③ Volume content of hydrogen in coke oven gas ≤ 60%; ④H2S≤200mg/Nm3; ⑤NH3≤20mg/Nm3; ⑥ Tar content ≤ 50mg/nm3; ⑦ Particle size of impurities ≤ 5 μ m. Impurity content ≤ 30mg/nm3; ⑧ Water content in coke oven gas ≤ 40g/nm3.
